In this article, you will learn how to easily create and save a filter in reporting. This useful feature allows you to effortlessly drill down to specific subsets of data, making your analysis more focused and efficient.
Go to View Reports in any order.
Filters are only available for Interactive Reports. To access the Interactive Reports, simply click on it. This will open up a tree view of Reports. To apply a filter, click on the Filter tab located on the top left corner of the tree view.
Click the Filtering On radio button.
The Advanced Filter box will appear, showing all survey questions on the left. Scroll to find the desired criteria and click on it. Then, select the answer options you want to include by checking the boxes on the right. You can add as many criteria as you need. After that, add a Filter Name and click the Save & Apply button to save the filter and apply it to the reports.
Your filter name will now be displayed in the drop-down menu below the Filtering On radio button and will be saved for future use. To select a report, simply click on the Reports tab located next to the Filter tab.
When you click on a report name in the tree view, the filtered criteria will be displayed at the top of the report, next to the Population section. The filter will remain active until you return to the Filter tab and choose the Filtering Off radio button.
- How to create a filter by date:
- Go to View Reports in any completed order.
- Click on Interactive Reports. A tree view of Reports will open. Click the Filter tab on the top left of the tree view.
- Click the Filtering On radio button.
- The Advanced Filter box will appear. Response Date is the first option on the left. Click on it then enter dates on the right.
- Add a Filter Name at the bottom left and click the Save & Apply button to save the filter and apply it to the reports.
- Your filter name will now appear in the drop-down under the Filtering On radio button and will be saved for future use. Click on the Reports tab next to the Filter tab to choose a report to view.
- Click on any report name in the tree view. Your created filter name will show at the top of the report and will stay "On" until you go back to the Filter tab and select the Filtering Off radio button.
