Choose a distribution method

The first time you open Manage Survey, you’ll be prompted to choose how you’d like to distribute your surveys. You can update this selection at any time. Below are the three available options.


1) Direct Send from Benchworks

We will send your email invitations using our “From” address (wess@webebi.com). This is the simplest and fastest way to launch your survey.


2)  Impersonate Your Campus Email Address

We will send invitations on your behalf using the “From” email address you specify during the invitation setup process. To enable this option, please contact your IT department and share the details provided on the Email Deliverability help page. Your IT team will need to add our SPF records to your email server to ensure proper authentication and delivery.


3)  Distribute Single Link Outside of Benchworks (Generate Single Link)

During setup, you’ll generate a single survey link that can be shared with participants through campus email or other campus systems. With this option, you are responsible for distributing the link to your audience. We will not send emails to participants on your behalf.

If you decide to switch methods after saving, you can choose either of the other two options under Features in the bottom-left corner of the Manage Survey page.
